Here’s your go-to guide for a day out in The Hills—snack stops, green spaces, and caffeine hits included.

  • The Vineyard
    725 Windsor Road, Vineyard

    The Vineyard is an all in one spot for the whole family!

    Here’s what you’ll find there:

    Tommy’s
    Tommy’s serves up freshly brewed coffee for the early risers, delicious bites for brunch lovers and ice cream for the kids.

    The Bistro

    Share style food to enjoy with family and friends. Celebrating homegrown flavours and sourcing local produce where possible, The Bistro menu features rotisserie of the day, pizza and steaks grilled over charcoal.

    The Lawn

    An outdoor music space, where the sounds of acoustic sets and vibrant live bands fill the air. The Lawn is your go-to spot for good music and great company. Live music is on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm.

    The Playground

    The playground is located next to Tommy’s Cafe and The Lawn, the playground is designed for little explorers to climb, slide, and play while parents relax. With ample shade and misters, it’s a year-round destination for fun.

  • Lynwood Golf and Country Club
    4 Pitt Town Bottoms Road, Pitt Town

    Bring the kids along for a fun morning of messy and sensory play, to stimulate your child's senses: touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing this event is for ages 5 years and under. Messy makers is free to play every Wednesday 11am-12pm for Lynwood club members, bookings are essential.

    Bella Vista Farm
    Elizabeth MacArthur Drive, Bella Vista

    This historic homestead is open for tours on Sundays from 9am till 2pm

    There's plenty to do at the Farm. Relax in the gardens and say hello to the Farm's resident sheep.

    Visit the Trash & Treasure stall and watch a spinning demonstration.

    You can also explore the heritage farm buildings kand enjoy a Devonshire Tea or bring a picnic, whilst you listen to music by chamber groups from the Hills Shire Symphony Orchestra.

    The Hills District Libraries

    Storytime is a fun and interactive 30 minute session for parents and children aged 2-5. It consists of stories, songs and activities which aim to encourage literacy and a love of reading in children.

    Baby Bounce is a program developed for parents and babies aged 0-24 months. It consists of 20-30mins of songs and rhymes. The sessions are interactive, fun and beneficial to both parent and childhood.

    Toddler Time is an interactive 30 minute session for those tiny tots who are beyond Baby Bounce but not quite ready for storytime.

    It consists of short stories, songs and rhymes suitable for children aged 18 months to 3 years old.

  • Bump
    11 Gymea Circuit, Rouse Hill

    BUMP provides a unique, supportive community for women, offering expert pre- and postnatal fitness training in a judgment-free environment. Their experienced instructors ensure safe and effective workouts throughout pregnancy and motherhood. Bump clubs feature diverse classes, relaxing social spaces, and two hands-on crèches, allowing mums to focus on their well-being guilt-free.

    Mother’s Group

    This exclusive offer is available to local Mothers' Groups at participating BUMP clubs only! Gather a group of four or more mums, and you can enjoy a complimentary, private class just for you and your group. Simply get in touch with your local BUMP club to check availability.

    Crèche

    Bump offers two crèche rooms -the first crèche room is for babies from 6 weeks to around 18 months. It features designated areas for prams (for sleeping babies), soft flooring and play mats for the littlest bubbas, as well as age-appropriate toys and equipment for toddlers who are starting to move around.

    The second crèche room is for children aged 18 months and older. This space is equipped with games, toys, and play zones to keep bigger, more mobile kids entertained under the loving guidance of our crèche staff.

    Each crèche session is 60 minutes long, giving you plenty of time to complete your class and enjoy some extra "me-time."
